OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM JUSTIN STOREY

For the past nine and a half years, I’ve answered a calling that required more than talent it required faith, commitment, blood, sweat, tears, and countless sleepless nights.

There were seasons fueled by dedication and a deep hunger to see others grow where I was the builder, the creator, the problem solver, and the backbone, all at once. I carried the vision before it had language, structure, or support, trusting that if I stayed faithful and committed to the work, growth would come.

And surely it did.

I’ve had the honor of serving the Central Florida region and beyond, but many people don’t know that this journey began under the name Film My Storey, where I captured live events, weddings, and life’s most meaningful moments. Back then, I had no idea that my eye for detail, my love for people, and my passion for storytelling would evolve into a calling rooted in branding, marketing, and purpose-driven work.

As I continued serving clients, a pattern became impossible to ignore too many businesses were being misrepresented through poor-quality visuals and inconsistent branding. In early 2017, JStorey Media was born as my response to that gap. What began as a solution became a mission.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of serving hundreds of clients helping bring visions to life through thoughtful design, brand development, content creation, and storytelling that actually means something.

What started in a college classroom and through service in my local church grew into a full-service branding and marketing agency that has taken us across the country from Florida to Texas, Arizona to California and even abroad into Europe. Through every season, our foundation has remained unshaken: faith, believing in people, and purpose.

I have always believed that everyone regardless of age, background, or beliefs, has a story worth telling. From mom-and-pop restaurants to Fortune 500 companies, global influencers to first-time founders taking their leap of faith, my heart has always been to help people look like where they’re going, not where they’ve been.

Running a business for nearly a decade comes with incredible wins and undeniable challenges. I have overseen every department, worn every hat, and carried the weight of leadership with intention and care making sure every client felt seen, supported, and elevated. And while I’ve given so much to this work, it has given just as much back to me: resilience, wisdom, refinement, and a deeper understanding of my purpose.

Today, I stand at the threshold of a new chapter.

Growth requires evolution and God has surrounded me with incredible peers, purpose partners, and creative leaders who are joining me as we step into this next level together.

JStorey Media is evolving into Storey Creative Agency (SCA).

This is not an ending.

This is an expansion.

Under SCA, we will continue to serve with excellence, integrity, and intention while introducing stronger infrastructure, elevated systems, expanded services, and a growing team, including:

• Additional creative leadership under our Co-Creative Director, Sharleen Heartwell

• Dedicated HR & Executive Administration support, Nikkia F.

• An expanding creative team equipped to support branding, marketing, design, storytelling, production, and beyond

This transition is deeply personal.

I started this business at 17 years old with nothing but faith, grit, and a genuine desire to help others win. To see it grow from living-room studio shoots into a trusted, preferred vendor across Central Florida and beyond fills me with gratitude, humility, and honestly… emotion.

I am living proof that when you lead with heart, stay committed to the work, and say yes even when it’s uncomfortable, God will honor it.

I truly love watching people elevate whether they are known or unseen, established or just beginning. There is something sacred about witnessing an idea become reality.
